Bereavement Leave for Staff

Purpose

The purpose of this policy is to support and define the procedure for staff to request time off, with and/or without pay, to grieve and attend to service(s) or related matter(s) in the unfortunate event of the personal loss of a family member. This procedure applies to all regular staff employees who are scheduled to work at least 1,000 hours annually.
