Canvas: How to Create an Office 365 Cloud Assignment

Before proceeding, ensure your file is located in or synchronized to OneDrive

Click Assignments from the Course Navigation menu
Then click the Add Assignment button
Enter a title in the Assignment Name field
Add instructions for the assignment
Enter the Points or use zero value
Under the Submission Type, select External Tool
To link the file, click the Find button
Scroll down, select Office 365 Cloud Assignment
Navigate to the document file path in OneDrive
Click on the file-name
In the following window, click the check-box on the left-side of the file-name
Then click Attach File
Configure External Tool pop-up appears. The linked URL is displayed
To link the cloud-document, click Select
Click Save & Publish
