Updating Keychain Access After a Password Change

Remove Your Old Password from Keychain

  1. Click on the Magnifying Glass at the top right of the screen:


     
  2. Type in Keychain Access:


     
  3. Hit Enter
     
  4. On the left hand panel, select Passwords:


     
  5. In the list of passwords, search for any passwords related to printing:
    1. rprint.rollins.edu
    2. papercut01.rollins.edu
    3. webprint.rollins.edu
    4. the name of the printer 
       
  6. Right click on the password entry
     
  7. Choose Delete:

Reconnect to the Print Servers with Your New Password

  1. Click on Finder in your dock:


     
  2. At the top menu bar, click on Go:


  3. In the drop down, click on Connect to Server:


  4. In the pop-up, enter smb://rprint.rollins.edu:


     
  5. Click Connect:


     
  6. In the next pop-up, choose Connect again:


     
  7. Type in your new password:


     
  8. Check Remember this password in my keychain:


     
  9. Click Connect:


     
  10. Click Cancel on the pop-up:


     
  11. Repeat steps 1-3 
     
  12. In the pop-up, enter smb://papercut01.rollins.edu:


     
  13. Click Connect:


  14. In the next pop-up, choose Connect again:


     
  15. Type in your new password:


     
  16. Check Remember this password in my keychain:


     
  17. Click Connect:


     
  18. Click Cancel on the pop-up:


     
  19. Test print a document
     
  20. If you do not receive a papercut window, call the Help Desk at (407)-628-6363
