Required Training

Our insurance carrier requires the viewing of the following courses in order to drive College vehicles. You are REQUIRED to complete the following courses BEFORE requesting a MVR check and driving any College vehicles. Course completion certificate(s) need to be uploaded with MVR service request.

  • The required courses can be accessed on demand by logging into okta and clicking on the "Vector Solutions - Employee Training" tile. The courses cannot be accessed directly through the Vector Solutions website.  
  • Vector Solutions Employee Training (or if a student, Vector Solutions SafeColleges Student Training)
  • Far Left Column, Select Extra Training
  • Transportation Tile
  • Please view:

    • 15-Passenger Van Safety (not available to Students)

If you will also be driving any street legal golf carts:

Rollins College has many faculty, staff and students whose responsibilities require traveling and properly operating automobiles and other motorized vehicles, which include but are not limited to automobiles, trucks, golf carts and all terrain vehicles.
The purpose of this policy is to define the rules and regulations that will govern the use and operation of golf carts and low speed vehicles (LSV’s) on campus grounds.
The College values the safety and health of our faculty, staff and student employees. Driving safely and alertly must be the highest priority. The purpose of this policy is to prohibit the unsafe practices of text messaging and handheld mobile telephone use by Rollins faculty, staff and students while driving in connection with Rollins business. This includes Rollins vehicles, golf carts, and rental cars and vans.
Rollins College will run motor vehicle reports on all employees who are required/requested to operate a college owned vehicle.
