MediaSpace: Add Members to a Channel

  1. Log in to MediaSpace.
     
  2. Click the My Channels tab.


     
  3. Click the pencil icon in the bottom-right corner of the channel you are adding members to. You will need to hover over the channel for the icon to appear.


     
  4. Click the Users tab, located under the channel name on the left side of the screen.


     
  5. Click + Add Users on the right side of the screen


     
  6. Type the name of the user you wish to add in the text bar


     
  7. Select the permission type you want the user to have
     
    • Members can only view content.
    • Contributors can view, edit, and upload content.
    • Moderators can view, edit, and upload content, as well as remove videos/comments.
    • Managers can do all of the above, as well as edit the channel settings and add new members.
      Be mindful of the permissions you set for your channel members!
       
  8. At the bottom-right of the pop-up window click Add.
