Kaltura: Upload a Video to My Media

Note: If you are using Safari, the tool will not load properly. Please use Chrome or Firefox to access it.

Make sure your video is less than 2 gigabytes each and is in one of the following formats:

Access Kaltura My Media via Canvas
Click Add New
Click Media Upload
Click Choose a file to upload
Choose the video file from your computer
Note: You will be notified when the upload is complete by the Upload Completed message
Fill Title, Description, Tags, and whether to set your video to Private or Published
Once you are finished, click Save

Step 5: Choose the video file from your computer

Note: You will be notified when the upload is complete by the Upload Completed message
Step 6: Fill Title, Description, Tags, and whether to set your video to Private or Published
Step 7: Once you are finished, click Save
