How to change the role of attendees in a Teams Meeting

If you are the organizer of a Microsoft Teams meeting, you can change the roles of the attendees.

Make an attendee a presenter

  1. Click on People in the menu at the top of the window


     
  2.  Under Attendees, locate the name of the person

     
  3.  Hover over the name of the attendee and click on More options (the three dots) 
  4.  Click Make a presenter

     
  5.  In the window that opens, click Change

     

Make a presenter an attendee

You can change the role of a presenter back to that of an attendee

  1. Click on People in the menu at the top of the window
  2. Hover over the name of the attendee and click on More options (the three dots) 
  3. Click Make an attendee

     
  4.  In the window that opens, click Change
