Note: To ensure students with accommodations receive their full extended time allowance, your quiz’s availability window must be longer than the total time they are permitted. If the availability window is too short, Canvas cannot apply the additional time. You can meet this requirement by either:
- Extending the Quiz Availability Window for the entire class, or
- Using Assign To to give only the students with accommodations a longer availability window.

Note: If your Quiz Settings show the answers after submission, students can view between attempts. To prevent this, Hide Quiz Results from students, or consider creating an Item Bank (Question Bank in Classic Quizzes) with many questions for your quiz to randomly pull from.
