How to Fix the "Work Offline" Error in Outlook

  1. Check to see if Outlook says Working Offline in the bottom right corner of the program or a red X on the Outlook icon:





  2. If so, click on Send/Receive in the menu along the top:


     
  3. Click on Work Offline in the preferences section:


     
  4. Make sure it shows Connected to: Microsoft Exchange in the bottom right corner of the program:
