How to update DNS

Overview:

This is the fix for when a user is able to get to all web pages except for Rollins pages.

Devices:

Mac Computer

Mac OS 13 (Ventura):

  1. Open WiFi settings in System Settings
  2. Click Details... next to Foxnetv2
  3. Click DNS on the left-hand side
  4. If the DNS has anything manually entered, highlight the entry and click the minus sign
  5. If the DNS does not have anything entered, it should have 10.104.3.12 and 10.104.3.13 listed

Mac OS 12 (Monterey) and earlier:

  1. Open Network settings in System Preferences
  2. Click on Advanced in the bottom right of the pop-up
  3. In the menu along the top, click on DNS
  4. If the DNS has anything manually entered, highlight the entry and click the minus sign
  5. If the DNS does not have anything entered, it should have 10.104.3.12 and 10.104.3.13 listed

Windows Computer:

  1. Open Network and Internet in Windows settings
  2. Click Network and Sharing Center
  3. Click the connection (WiFi or Ethernet)
  4. Click Properties
  5. Double click Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)
  6. If the DNS server address has anything manually entered, click the option Obtain DNS server address automatically:
