WordPress: Create a Post

1. Hover your mouse over Posts on the left sidebar.
   
   
   
   
2. Click Add New. 
   
   
    
3. Enter the title of your post in the text box under Add New Post.
   
   
    
4. Start writing the body of your post in the larger box below.
   
   
    

To Assign a Category to your Post

1. Scroll down to Categories on the right column​​​​​​. 
   
   
    
2. Click a category already exist.
   
   
   
   
3. If the category is not listed, click +Add New Category.
   
   
    
4. Type the name of your category in the box and press enter.
   
   
    
5. Confirm the new category will appear in the list and check it.
   
   
    

To Assign Tags to your Post

1. Scroll down to Tags on the right column​​​​​​ under Categories. 
   
   
    
2. Type in the tags, separating them with commas, and click Add. 
   
   
    
3. Once they appear under the input box, your post has been tagged.
   
   
   
   

To Save or Publish your Post

1. Scroll up to Publish on the top of the right column.
   
   
    
2. If you want to save and do further revision to your post before publishing, click Save Draft.
   
   
    
3. If you want to see what your post will look like when it is published on the blog, click Preview.
   
   
    
4. Once your post is completed and ready, click Publish to put it up onto the blog.
   
   
    
5. if you want to delete your post completely, click Move to Trash.
