Outlook is unable to send or receive emails after a password change

  1. Close all Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Skype for Business, etc.)
  2. Click on the Start button at the button left of the screen
  3. Type Credential Manager in the search box
  4. Under generic credentials, remove any items that say Microsoft Office or Rollins.edu
  5. To remove the items, click on the down arrow and click Remove as shown below

  6. Re-launch Outlook
  7. When prompted, enter your email address and password
  8. Select Remeber my Credentials to allow windows to save your new password

  9. If Outlook does not prompt for your credentials, restart your computer.
