After importing content from the previous Canvas term to the upcoming term, you must set up the new Perusall course for students.
1. In the new course, open the Perusall assignment by clicking on the Load button.
The Get Started window will guide you through the copying process.
2. Click the Continue button in the bottom right corner to view step 2: Basic settings
3. In the Basic settings, you can adjust the Course start date, end date, etc...
4. Select the Continue button to view step 3: Select content
5. Choose Copy existing course
6. In the content to copy from in the Copy course window, select the previous course from the Course to copy drop-menu
7. Then select the content and assignment you need to copy
8. Click the OK button
You should be ready to go. Open the Library and the Assignments to view the content.
If you return to the Canvas assignment and refresh your web browser. Then click the Load button.
The Perusall assignment can now open to the assignment as expected.
