Eligibility

  • For dependent children of faculty or staff members with regular, benefit-eligible appointments of 1462 hours per year or more, after one year of service.
  • Eligible dependent children are those who are a natural child, stepchild or a child legally adopted or for whom you have been granted court-appointed custody before that child attained age 16 and who is primarily dependent on the Faculty/Staff member for financial support as defined by the internal revenue code.

Overview

  • Assistance provided for tuition to college-aged dependent children who are enrolled as students in an undergraduate, degree-seeking program at other accredited institutions of higher learning
  • Pays up to $2,000 per fiscal year towards tuition (4 year maximum) divided equally among semesters ($1,000 per semester)
  • Both parents are eligible if each is a full-time Faculty/Staff member with one full year of service

Request

  • Must complete the online application each semester (also available at my.rollins.edu)
  • Rollins will then inform the institution that the student qualifies for the grant
  • The institution will invoice Rollins for the payment, usually after the drop/add period ends 
  • Rollins will send a payment directly to the institution
