Kaltura Personal Capture: Recording Camera and Screen

  1. Access Kaltura Personal Capture via Canvas
     
  2. Make sure "Screen" is toggled on (i.e., the icon should not be crossed out)
     
  3. Set your recording area 


     
    • Full screen will record your entire screen, including the task bar.
    • Select Area will record only what occurs inside of the area outlined. The outlined area size can be adjusted.
       
  4. Make sure "Camera" is toggled on (i.e., the icon should not be crossed out)
     
  5. Adjust your settings for Audio as desired. If you wish to have audio, ensure that the microphone icon is not crossed out. 
     
  6. Click the red button to record
     
  7. Minimize the Kaltura Personal Capture Settings



  8. Expand the Kaltura Personal Capture Settings by selecting the Kaltura Personal Capture icon from your taskbar


     
  9. Click the "Stop" icon to stop recording
