Kaltura Personal Capture: Recording a PowerPoint Presentation
Access Kaltura Personal Capture
via Canvas
Make sure "Screen" is toggled on (i.e., the icon should not be crossed out)
Set your recording area
Full screen will record your entire screen, including the task bar.
(recommended when recording presentations)
Select Area will record only what occurs inside of the area outlined. The outlined area size can be adjusted.
Adjust your settings for Camera and Audio as desired
To turn off the camera, toggle off the camera icon
To turn off the audio, toggle off the microphone icon
Click the red button to record
Minimize the Kaltura Personal Capture Settings
Go to your PowerPoint Presentation
Present your PowerPoint like normal
Close the PowerPoint Presentation
Expand the Kaltura Personal Capture Settings by selecting the Kaltura Personal Capture icon from your taskbar
Click the "Stop" icon to stop recording
Save the recording
Trim the saved video
