Update Local Connection Profile for Microsoft Access

If you run an Access query after the Banner upgrade on Dec. 28th/29th, and receive this error:

Follow these steps:

  1. Download the executable to update the local connection profile 
  2. Double-click the file:

  3. If you receive this message from Windows, click More Info:

  4. Click Run Anyway:

  5. You'll briefly see a window pop-up
  6. Try to run a query again
