Canvas: Embed a Video from your Kaltura Library using the Rich Content Editor

Notes

• If you are using Safari, you need to change your cookies settings in order for the tool to load properly. 
• If you are submitting this as an assignment, you will need to use the Rich Content Editor in the text submission box. If you do not see the text submission box, please let your instructor know. 
• Kaltura videos can be embedded anywhere there is a Rich Content Editor box, including a Page, Discussion, and Assignment. 
  
  
   
• Directions for adding a video to your Kaltura library

Directions

1. Within the Rich Content Editor, click on the Embed Kaltura Media icon.
   
   
   
   Note: If the icon is not visible on the strip, click the three dots at the end of the strip.
   
   
   
   Then click on the Embed Kaltura Media icon in the extended menu.
   
   
    
2. A pop up will appear. Click Add from Library
   Refer to these directions to Record from Webcam 
   
   
    
3. Locate the video you wish to add
    
4. Click Embed located to the right of the video
   
   
    
5. The video will automatically populate in the Rich Content Editor
