This article will address how a team owner can add or remove team members and guests, manage the team and channel settings (such as Apps and Tags), and archive a team.

1. Open the Teams app.
2. Click Teams on the left navigation.
3. Click on the three dots on the icon of the team and select Manage team.
4. Click Settings.

Channels are dedicated sections within a team to keep conversations organized by specific topics, projects, and disciplines.
1. After selecting a team, select Channels, and then click Add Channel.
2. You can then set the channel name, description, and privacy settings. Click Add when complete.
Note : Make the channel visible to team users by clicking on the checkbox.

1. Open the desired Team
2. Click on the three dots next to the team name and select Manage Team as instructed above.
3. Select Channels
4. Click on More Options (three dots) next to the channel you'd like to manage. Select Manage channel.
4. You can then make desired changes to the channel.

Analytics for teams and channels can be viewed to gain insight into usage patterns and activities.
1. After selecting Manage team (see instructions above), Select Analytics.
2. You can view analytics for All Channels or a single channel.
3. Select a timeframe.

A Tag can be used to categorize people so that you can reach a specific group of people at once. Once a tag (Ex. @mention) is added to a channel, everyone who has been assigned that tag will receive notifications when that tag is used.

To view tags go to a team and click on more options, and select Manage team.

Click on Tags.

1. Click on Teams on the left navigation bar.
2. Click on the settings gear icon and select Manage Teams.
3. Click on the three dots on the far right side of the team name.
4. You have the option to:

Delete the team to permanently delete it from your teams list along with all hosted channels, conversations, files, and Microsoft 365 groups for the team.

Archive team to mark it as inactive while keeping the team’s mailbox, site, and files.

Restore team to restore an archived team.
