Digital R-Cards are coming in March 2026. Add your R-Card to compatible phones and watches and then tap to pay at dining locations, access buildings, enter the garage, and print.

FAQs about Digital R-Card usage

What can I do with my Digital R-Card?

Everything you normally do with your physical R-Card — like entering campus buildings, accessing the parking garage, and buying food at campus dining locations — can now be done with your Digital R-Card.

Where can I use my Digital R-Card?

  • Door access (academic, administrative, and residential buildings) 
  • Dining
  • Parking garage

Can I keep my physical R-Card?

Yes! We recommend keeping your physical R-Card in a safe place as a backup. It will still work just like before.

Can I use my Digital R-Card if my phone's battery is dead?

Apple Wallet: Yes - iPhone XS, XS Max, and XR support Express Mode with power reserve for up to five hours (additional details). iPhone 8 and earlier don't support this feature.

Samsung Wallet:  Yes - eligible Samsung Galaxy phones and watches support this. You can make up to 15 transactions within 24 hours after the device powers off from low battery.

How can I configure my Digital R-Card?

You can follow the steps in this article to set up your Digital R-Card on your mobile device.

I already have the Transact eAccounts mobile app installed. Do I need to update it?

Yes, you will need to install the updated version of the Transact eAccounts mobile app. 

How do I update the Transact eAccounts mobile app?

On your device, visit the App Store or Google Play Store and search Transact eAccounts. The store will prompt you to install any required updates. 

What if I don't have a smartphone?

Your physical R-Card will continue to work.

I am not having success adding my digital R-Card to my device. Who can help me?

FAQs about Digital R-Card security

What should I do if I lose my card or device, or if I believe there has been fraudulent use of my credentials?

To deactivate your digital R-Card, contact the R-Card Office at 407-646-1564 during business hours and specify which credentials (physical card, watch, phone) to suspend; unspecified ones remain active.

Report suspected fraud for Dining Dollars or TarBUC$ to rcard@rollins.edu, and door access issues to campussafety@rollins.edu.

You can also deactivate credentials via the Transact eAccounts app (Settings > Card Management) or web (Card Services > Deactivate Card); only the selected card will be disabled, and you’ll receive a confirmation email.

How do I reactivate my credential if I find my lost device?

To reactivate a found device that was suspended, perform the following steps: 

In the Transact eAccounts App: 

  • Click the settings gear in the upper right corner.  
  • Select the Card Management option. 
  • Choose the credential you want to reactivate and toggle it on.  
  • You will receive a confirmation email. Only the selected card will be reactivated.   

In the Transact eAccounts Web Version

  • Select Card Services 
  • Select Activate Card 
  • Select the credential to reactivate  
  • You will receive a confirmation email. Only the selected card will be reactivated.
