How to share an Outlook calendar

Mac Computer

  1. Open your Outlook application
  2. Click the Calendar icon
  3. Right-click the calendar that you would like to change permissions on
  4. Click Sharing Permissions...
  5. Click the plus symbol at the bottom left of the pop-up
  6. Type in the email address of the user would would like to share the calendar with
  7. Choose what level of permissions you want them to have:
    • Can view when I'm busy
    • Can view titles and locations
    • Can view all details
    • Can edit
    • Delegate 
    • Delegate - can view private events
  8. Click Add

Windows Computer

  1. Open your Outlook application
  2. Click the Calendar icon 
  3. Right-click the calendar that you would like to change permissions on
  4. Click Sharing Permissions
  5. Click Add...
  6. Type in the name of the person you want to share the calendar with
  7. Click Add then OK 
  8. Choose what level of permissions you want them to have:
    • Owner
    • Publishing Editor 
    • Editor 
    • Publishing Author
    • Author
    • Nonediting Author
    • Reviewer
    • Contributor
    • Free/Busy time, subject, location
    • Free/Busy time
    • None

Webmail

  1. Log in to your Rollins Email
  2. Click the calendar icon 
  3. Click the three dots next to the calendar you would like to change permissions on
  4. Click Sharing and permissions
  5. Type in the email address of the user you want to share the calendar with
  6. Choose what level of permissions you want them to have:
    • Can view when I'm busy
    • Can view titles and locations
    • Can view all details
    • Can edit
    • Delegate
  7. Click Share
