Our Services
Our Grounds and Landscape Services Team is comprised of dedicated landscape professionals who oversee the daily maintenance of Rollins College’s campus, striving to create a safe, attractive, and sustainable outdoor environment that supports both learning and work. As stewards of the campus, the team takes pride in promoting sustainable and ethical landscaping practices, following Florida’s Best Management Practices to uphold environmental stewardship.
Our services include:
- Ornamental and Ground Cover Maintenance: Caring for the ornamental plants and ground covers across campus, ensuring they stay healthy, vibrant, and pest-free.
- Turfgrass Care: Maintaining the lush, green campus lawns with routine mowing, fertilization, and weed control to create attractive, well-groomed open spaces.
- Agronomic Services: Implementing soil management, fertilization, and other agronomic practices to support healthy plant and turf growth, ensuring the landscape remains resilient and sustainable.
- Irrigation and Water Management: Installing, monitoring, and maintaining irrigation systems to conserve water and meet the needs of campus plants, with regular system adjustments to prevent overwatering.
- Landscape Design and Installation: Planning and executing landscape projects that enhance campus aesthetics, blending historic elements with new plantings and features to create a cohesive, inspiring environment.
- Tree Care: Pruning, maintaining, and treating trees to preserve their health and safety. This includes monitoring for diseases and infestations and taking proactive steps to manage campus trees sustainably.
- Hardscape Maintenance: Upkeep of campus pathways, plazas, benches, and other hardscape features to ensure they are safe, accessible, and inviting.
- Athletic Field Maintenance: Caring for the college’s athletic fields, ensuring that they remain in excellent condition and meet the safety standards necessary for athletic activities.

How to Make a Request
For routine grounds & landscape requests, faculty, staff, and students can submit a Service Request online using the Support Portal in TeamDynamix 24 hours a day or by calling Facilities Services at 407-691-1000, Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
PLEASE NOTE: For Service Requests requiring immediate attention (e.g., those related to life safety or worsening situations), please call Facilities Services directly instead of using the online portal. For after-hours emergencies, contact Campus Safety at 407-646-2999.
