Connectivity issues with AirMedia and iPads on iOS 14.x

Issue

There is a known problem with iPads running iOS 14.x connecting to AirMedia. Follow these steps to confirm which version of iOS your iPad is running:

  1. Open Settings
     
  2. Select General from the menu on the left
     
  3. Select About
     
  4. The software version will be listed under the device's name:

Temporary Workaround

  1. Open Settings
     
  2. Select Wi-Fi from the menu on the left
     
  3. Click on the i next to Foxnet-v2:


     
  4. Select Forget This Network:


     
  5. Select Forget from the pop-up:


     
  6. Select Foxnet-v2 from the list of available networks:


     
  7. Log in with your Rollins credentials
     
    1. If prompted, select to Trust the security certificate 
       
  8. Once you are connected, click on the i next to Foxnet-v2 again
     
  9. Turn off Private Address:


     
  10. Select Rejoin:


     
  11. Once you reconnect to the network, try connecting to AirMedia
