Microsoft Teams: Recommended Settings for Creating a Teams Site for a Course

  1. From the main page of your team, click on the three dots next to the title and select Manage team:


     
  2. Click the Settings tab:


     
  3. Click Member permissions:


     
  4. We recommend deselecting all of the permissions with the exception of giving members the options to delete and edit their message
