Communicating with Students

Idea: Determine how you will communicate with your students and provide your plan with your students, as well as how you expect them to communicate with you.

• Decide if you will use Rollins email or communication tools in Canvas to communicate with your students.  
• If you use the Canvas Inbox and/or Announcements tools to communicate, remind students to check their notification settings. Individuals set their own notification preferences and may have turned off email.
• You may also consider using the Fuze phone/computer app or Teams to conduct virtual office hours.
