Kaltura: Captioning a Video

Body

You can order automatic machine captions for videos uploaded to Kaltura/My Media. Directions are provided below on how to order and edit captions. You will also find resources for best practices when creating captions.

The automatic machine captions may take anywhere from a few minutes to 48 hours to complete depending on the lenghth of the video and have an accuracy rate of approximately 70% to 75%. Because of this, you will need to manually edit the automatic machine captions with Kaltura's built-in editor.
