The Maintenance Team at Rollins College is dedicated to preserving the functionality, safety, and aesthetic quality of campus facilities. Our Services

The Maintenance Team comprises skilled tradespeople and facilities professionals responsible for the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of campus buildings, systems, and utilities. Key services include:

  • Building Repairs and Maintenance: Addressing routine and unexpected repairs, such as lighting issues, plumbing leaks, and temperature control, to keep campus facilities safe and functional. This includes minor repairs and regular upkeep to preserve the quality and usability of campus spaces.
  • HVAC Systems Management: Maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to ensure a comfortable indoor environment. Regular inspections and repairs optimize climate control and energy efficiency across all buildings.
  • Plumbing Services: Managing the campus’s water supply and drainage systems through preventive maintenance, repairs, and regular inspections, ensuring reliable plumbing and sanitation facilities for the college community.
  • Electrical Maintenance: Overseeing campus electrical systems, including power outlets, lighting, and emergency generators. The team performs regular checks, installations, and repairs to maintain safety and functionality.
  • Carpentry Services: Providing skilled carpentry work for repairs, installations, and renovations throughout campus facilities.

How to Make a Request

For routine maintenance requests, faculty, staff, and students can submit a Service Request online using the Support Portal in TeamDynamix 24 hours a day or by calling Facilities Services at 407-691-1000, Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Routine needs, such as light outages, leaking pipes, or temperature issues, are managed by the Maintenance Team on a triage basis, prioritizing requests with the greatest impact on the campus community.

PLEASE NOTE: For Service Requests requiring immediate attention (e.g., those related to life safety or worsening situations), please call Facilities Services directly instead of using the online portal. For after-hours emergencies, contact Campus Safety at 407-646-2999.
