Canvas: Providing Extended Time and Extra Attempts on Classic Quizzes

Body

  1. Open the quiz in Canvas
     
  2. Select Moderate This Quiz
     
  3. Select the checkbox next to the student(s) you want to modify the time limit for, then click on the "Change Extensions for (1) Selected Students" link at the bottom
     
  4. Next to Extra Attempts, enter the number of additional attempts
     
  5. Next to Extra time on every attempt, enter the number of extra minutes
     
  6. At the bottom of the pop-up click Save

  • Step 2: In the Related Items sidebar, select Moderate This Quiz


    Note: On smaller monitors, this sidebar may appear at the bottom of the page
