Important
You must be a group administrator to edit an event for a group.
Instructions
- Go to the group that has the event you would like to edit
- Click on the Events tab
- Click on the event that you would like to edit
- Click on the ellipsis menu at the top right of the event
- Select Edit Event from the drop down
- Edit any of the following details:
- Edit cover image for event (optional)
- Edit name of the event
- Edit date and time information:
- Start date and time
- End date and time
- Select if the event will be all day
- Whether or not the event repeats
- Timezone for the event (defaults to EST)
- If you the event should be published later
- Edit event details:
- Edit video conferencing if it should be a Teams meeting (event URL will auto populate if you select a Teams meeting)
- Event description
- Location/Room #
- Max # of attendees
- Labels
- Event privacy
- Select if the event can be shared publicly
- Select if anyone can view the list of attendees
- Event tickets
- Select if the event requires tickets
- Track attendance
- Select if the event will allow checking-in
- Select if the event will allow checking-out
- Event Hosts
- Edit event hosts and select if they can edit the event
- Click Save Updates
