Like other Rollins supported software, the data entered into Amplify GenAI is kept within the Rollins environment. The companies that operate the AI models within Amplify GenAI do not have access to, collect, or use any of the information, prompts, conversations or artifacts.
Even with internal privacy protections, sensitive or personally identifiable information should not be uploaded or prompted into Amplify GenAI. Including anything protected under regulations like FERPA and HIPAA, such as grades, test scores, and health information and other personally identifiable information like social security numbers, banking information, etc. Data shared within the college that does not require authorized access, and data intended for general or public use can be included within prompts and uploaded documents for Amplify to create more efficient and better prompts and products within your AI conversations.
When saved locally, your conversation history is stored in your device's browser. When saved to the cloud, it simply makes the data accessible across your devices, but it is not shared institutionally or externally. You have control over what is shared, as the only time your chat history, assistants, or artifacts are shared is when you choose to do so.
