Fall 22: Help Desk: Open evenings & weekends

Tags 22Fall

Start with the Help Desk

The Help Desk is designed to be your first stop for any IT questions. We make use of a ticketing system, TeamDynamix, that helps us make sure your issues can be supported by anybody who needs to help, rather than possibly being held up in the inbox of a particular person who may be out of the office.

You can easily reach out by calling 407-628-6363 or by emailing helpdesk@rollins.edu. We’re also working to improve our support portal so that by visiting www.rollins.edu/helpdesk you can search for and submit a specific ticket for your request that would route directly to the appropriate person or team within IT.

If you ever have difficulty receiving the support you're looking for from the Help Desk, we want to know what's happening and work to improve the Help Desk experience. Send your ticket number and the issue you're experiencing to Kendra Strode, the Director of IT Support & Outreach, and she'll work work with you to understand and address the situation.

Event-specific support

You’re always welcome to call the Help Desk when you have issues with a classroom or an event. If you’d like to plan ahead and coordinate a tech check for an upcoming event or class need, we encourage you to reach out to Scheduling & Event Services (407.646.2673 or events@rollins.edu) for help requesting a tech check or other equipment when you plan your event.

Improving cross-departmental support

This fall, Facilities and HR will be joining the TeamDynamix ticketing environment. Often a request that comes to IT requires help from these other departments, and vice versa. By working together in the same support system we’ll be able to better coordinate efforts and more directly help you get the support you need.
